Strands within the 110 plus film programme focus on protest, environment, music and gay, and for the first time, an Outdoor screening programme attended by veteran filmmaker Albert Maysles for the showing of the classic Grey Gardens. Many titles will compete in the award programme which includes the Sheffield Special Jury, Innovation, Green, Youth Jury, Student Doc and Audience Awards, plus the Sheffield Inspiration Award which this year goes to Nick Broomfield.
